God doesn’t ask us to be filtered Christians who hide what's inside of us or who screen our sinful thoughts or words. We are called to be people transformed by God's grace. Filtering produces a watered-down version of who we are meant to be. True transformation allows us to be authentically ourselves while being a people who bless those around us.
Living in unity goes beyond screening our genuine thoughts and feelings so we appear friendly or "nice." True unity is a holy, God-given gift that flows when God's people live together in a way that makes God's presence visible.
